General

The foundation collects data for the purpose of fee administration and, optionally, for the purpose of providing information.

The foundation does not collect any other data.

For the data submitted via the forms, the sender receives a copy. For the data on the bank statements, you receive a copy from your own bank.

Mandatory versus optional fields

Most of the input fields are optional. The mandatory fields are necessary in order to contact members. The optional fields serve to make our work easier. For example: we have two new members but only receive one fee payment, under a name that does not appear to belong to either of the two new members. If the optional account-number field has been filled in, we know which payment belongs to which member.

What we do with the data on the registration/cancellation form

Email

The email address is necessary in order to send the data you filled in for us back to you as well, so that you have a copy. It is also the way in which the foundation can contact its members.

Surname

We need a surname to know who a fee payment is from. That cannot always be derived from an email address.

First name

This is the name by which the teacher addresses you during class.

Name prefix

For children and youth members we hand out diplomas. It is then rather careless not to mention name prefixes (such as “van” or “de”).

Street, House number, Postcode, Town

In special cases - long-term illness, marriage - we want to send a card.

Telephone number

Telephone contact is for the real exceptional cases. For example: a class is cancelled and we know that someone does not read their email, or reads it poorly.

Date of birth

For children and youth members different fee amounts apply. It is also important for the teachers who teach children and youth classes to know the age of their pupils.

Account number

Sometimes it is a puzzle to work out who the fees are from and for. For example: with joint accounts part of the name is sometimes missing from the statement. With children and youth members it regularly happens that the surname of the person paying the fees is not the same as that of the member.

Training day

With this we check whether a new member has actually registered.

Additional permissions

Data is not passed on to other members, unless the registrant has explicitly given permission for this. Data is never passed on to third parties.

Deregistration

After we have received your cancellation form and the person cancelling has met all financial obligations, we delete all personal data from our administration.

If you would like to stay on the email list, you can give permission for this.

Who has access to the data

The state-qualified teachers and the membership administration have access to the data.

Where is the data stored

The data is stored offline.

Requesting data

You can request the data held about you on the membership list from your teacher.

Photos and videos

During classes, photos and video recordings may only be taken if:

  • It is stated whether the photos and videos will be published online
  • All those present agree to it
  • The photos and videos are made available to everyone

Social media

The data on social media falls under the terms and conditions and privacy policy of the relevant services.

Participation in these groups means that you are yourself responsible for the data you publish there and the responses to it.
